Our signature Kyra Mini Dress silhouette in Apricot Blush has been lovingly hand block printed with a traditional Jaal block design inspired by the sacred lotus flower.

The beauty of block print is stunning on this delightful mini dress. A flattering feminine design featuring romantic billowing sleeves and a full bodied skirt free of underlining, making it the most comfortable style due to the heavenly soft lightness of the material. With optional front tie detailing at the bust, this design is both maternity and breast-feeding friendly.

Material ~ 100% Cotton. Depending on each individual, some find the material sheer. A slip may be worn underneath if desired.

Garment Care ~ We recommend a gentle, cold water hand wash using natural detergents, and hang drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are delicate, however, designed to last when treated mindfully with love and care.

Flows with femininity

I am lucky enough to live near the Daughters of India Byron Bay store so I was able to try on many of their beautiful dresses in lots of colours. It was a tough decision to bring it down to one dress (for now anyway!). But it was the newly released Kyra Mini in Apricot Blush that I kept coming back to. I even had a girlfriend come with me and when I walked out of the dressing room in it she said: 'That's beautiful on you'. And I felt it too, the moment I put this dress on. It makes me feel feminine, free and sexy. The generosity and softness of the cotton fabric is unbelievable as it swishes and swirls around you as you walk. I decided to go up a size from my normal medium to a large to gain a little more length and coverage for my legs. I am genuinely excited about my purchase from DOI and will definitely return to buy more dresses in the future, not only for their beauty but mostly for the sustainable ethics of this quality clothing and company.
