After washing, this garment will take on a beautiful cheesecloth effect. We recommend a gentle, cold water hand wash using natural detergents, and hang drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are delicate, however, designed to last when treated mindfully with love and care.

Our fabrics are dyed by hand in small batches using azo-free dyes, allowing colour to develop slowly and evenly. Deeper shades may pass through multiple dye baths, while lighter tones are carefully controlled to maintain softness and consistency.

Each fabric is then washed and softened, letting the colour settle naturally while preserving lightness, movement, and feel.

We have pledged an ongoing monthly donation of $10,000 to support our charity partnerships Sewing the Seeds and Saheli Women.

Sewing the Seeds is a women’s empowerment initiative that uses education and creativity in slow fashion to help break the cycle of poverty for Indian women. Their centre offers training in business, finance, and women’s health, fostering self-confidence in a supportive environment.

We have committed to a monthly donation of $5,000 to support their impactful work.

We’re working with Saheli women to launch Saheli Kapas, a Cotton Project, to support and empower female farmers at the root of the supply chain. Saheli Women believe true fashion starts with the Earth and the women who nurture and farm it.

The pilot begins with five women and their farms, providing them with training, direct income, and ongoing support. By offering access to quality seeds and low-water sustainable practices, we aim to uplift communities while honouring Mother Earth.

Exchanges are available on the same item only, in a smaller or larger size. Domestic orders within Australia will be provided with a prepaid shipping label with a $15 shipping fee.
