Celebrating our slow fashion ethos, Nora is an ode to the art of handmade. Beginning with four wood blocks intricately hand-carved to create two traditional floral designs, skilled artisans then use the blocks to slowly and carefully hand print delicate noir hues with a sweet magenta outline upon the softest cotton voile. Tiers of printed fabric have then been gracefully layered and finished with mother-of-pearl buttons from bodice to base, forming this free flowing feminine style lovingly hand-crafted by a small group of women in Jaipur, India.

*Please note due to this style's production process taking several months to create, each Nora mini dress is completely unique and one-of-a-kind and is only available in extremely limited quantities.*

Material ~ 100% Cotton. This style features an underlining, covering the bodice to the base of the last tier on the mini length skirt.

Garment Care ~ We recommend a gentle, cold water hand wash using natural detergents, and hang drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are delicate, however, designed to last when treated mindfully with love and care.

Fallen in Love!! The Nora Mini Dress vs the Kyra Midi

I have 2 Kyra Midi dresses and after much hesitation going back and forth trying to determine what would be the correct size, ordered the Nora Mini (bust sizing is different). I am 4’11”, 115#, and 36D bust; I’m also 78 yrs, so was initially conflicted whether the DOI dresses would look silly on me. I finally ordered Krya Midi in Small and the bust “just” fits. I also had to have them shortened by 5”. In the meantime, I kept looking at the Nora Mini and comparing sizing info between the two styles, esp bust size, wondering how it would look on this old lady! Well, let me tell you, I adore it! I ordered in Small, but probably could have gone with an XS. Absolutely perfect and overall better fit than the Kyra. It also just grazes the bottom of my knees, which I wanted. Please, please continue to offer the Nora Mini, but in additional colors and I will buy!!
