Handmade in India

Lalika presents a classic pinafore style crafted from a rare and exclusive hand-loomed textile in stunning shades of burgundy, tan, cream and magenta. Showcasing the beauty of true hand-craftsmanship, the mismatched plaid design features a bustier shaped corset and criss-cross open back flowing into an A-line midi length skirt, a hip-to-bust zip in the middle of the back and tan cotton underlining for added comfort.

Material ~ 100% Hand-loomed Cotton with 100% Cotton Lining.

Garment Care ~ We recommend a gentle, cold water hand wash using natural detergents, and hang drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are delicate, however, designed to last when treated mindfully with love and care.

Ethically handmade with love in India, the creation of this garment serves to support local traditions and the preservation of the ancient artistry of handloom weaving.

Beautiful dress

Love the dress and the fabric/pattern. I find the sizing for Daughters of India a bit random but otherwise it’s lovely. In any other brand I’m a 10-12. The medium was very fitted so I tried the large which is looser but not overly so. I will need to shorten the straps which is easy and worth it as I love the dress.
