A unique gown designed to make a statement! The Chaaya Maxi dress has been lovingly hand block printed by artisans in Jaipur, India. Featuring a deep V neckline and tiered skirt evoking the most elegant of feelings.

The Chaaya in Eggplant has been printed using a traditional Indian Buti flower print. Buti means single flower, pictured here amongst a beautiful deep aubergine coloured background.

Material ~ 100% Cotton. Depending on each individual, some find the material sheer. A slip may be worn underneath if desired.

Garment Care ~ We recommend a gentle, cold water hand wash using natural detergents, and hang drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are delicate, however, designed to last when treated mindfully with love and care.

beautiful and long!

I love this dress- it is just beautiful. I would describe the color as brown and not eggplant but that works for me. It is also nice and long for my 5'9 height. I got a small and it fits amazing- I am usually a med.

I have this dress in both Chai and Eggplant colour - the photos don't do the beautiful colours justice. I always receive compliments when I wear them, just stunning and gorgeously flowy - perfect for Summer which is on the way again!

This dress did not disappoint. I’m 128 lbs with a 33” bust and the XS fits perfectly. I was concerned that the neckline would be too low, and it is, but that’s ok. I’m planning to shorten the front hem of the dress by 2” and use the fabric the make a higher neckline to cover my cleavage. The skirt is UH-MAZING. I love the fullness and drape; very regal. I also love the eggplant color; it’s a deep purplish brown. Thank you DOI!

Flowy

The size is perfect & length is pretty good. Very flowy & airy. It’s a bit thin & almost see through, I’ll probably wear a slip under it unless it’s a more casual beachy affair. I’d say it’s so flowy that it takes up a bit more space in my closet than my other long dresses. Haven’t washed it yet. From the instructions, I’m a bit afraid to. It did have a bit of an odor when I first got it, I hung it up & let it air out for a couple days & it’s fine. I do like it & am glad I bought it. Arrived quicker than anticipated!
